Continuing
Education Program:
UMASS BOSTON's
Frank J. Manning
Certified
Program in Gerontology
As America
ages, so does it need for reliance on elder services and expertise.
By giving you the opportunity to build on current skills while acquiring
new ones, the Gerontology Certificate Program can open the door
to professional advancement, advocacy, and research in both public
and private sectors. Many of our participants in the program are
over 60 and interested in providing peer services.
Many who
complete our certificate program go on to further study.
Applications
for the Frank J. Manning Certificate Program in Gerontology are
being accepted for admission to the spring (January) or fall (September)
semester.
The program
in Gerontology has been approved for financial aid.
